This year’s audiences will be treated to a program that offers a blend of familiar holiday favorites and hauntingly beautiful traditional Christmas choral literature. Seasonal sacred favorites include “Wexford Carol” from James Bassi’s “Carol Symphony,”and John Rutter’s arrangement of “Go Tell It On The Mountain.” Also included are two new arrangements by composer Dan Forrest. On the lighter side, the chorus presents two favorites arranged by Harry Simeone, “Do You Hear What I Hear?” and his arrangement of the Clement Clark Moore poem, “’Twas The Night Before Christmas,” made popular by Fred Waring and the Pennsylvanians. The Buffalo Choral Arts Society is in its 52nd Season of enriching the lives of music lovers across Western New York. Join us for an evening of song guaranteed to inspire and delight.
The Concert will be approximately 70 minutes in length and will be performed without an intermission.
